Some Really Handy Products

I saw these ads on Facebook a couple of days ago and thought they were a fantastic idea.
The first one is an Electronic Mosquito Killer/Bug Zapper, USB Powered Silent Non-toxic UV LED Mosquito Lamp with Built in Fan Mosquito Catcher Trap for Baby Good Sleep. (Their words). For me I think its a brilliant idea. I have not seen one before and maybe they have been around a while but for me its a first time. Its product name is FANXIAOKJ. It is advertised for US$18.99 . I think they are about AUD $30. They can be bought on Amazon

The second one is the Travelon Bag Bungee– If you are like me you travel a lot and find that extra hand bag for travel on board, is a pain in the butt and this bungee is brilliant to be able to strap it on the top of your carry on.
This also is on Amazon for the price of US$10.95 probably about AUD$18.

Kangen Water Machine in the Kitchen – Its A Mustđź’¦

Almost 70 percent of non-organic fruit and vegetable  samples tested positive for at least one pesticide. (In many cases, the numbers were much higher.) And get this: A single strawberry sample harbored 22 different pesticide and pesticide breakdown residues.

While spinach nutrition is loaded with calcium and vitamins, there’s one reason to always try to choose organic. Researchers found DDT, a neurotoxic insecticide banned in the U.S., in an alarming number of samples. (A whopping 40 percent of nonorganic spinach samples, to be exact.)

It is quite amazing that a lot of the pesticides found on fruit and vegetables in America are banned in other countries. The disturbing bit is that a lot of the pesticide regulations are outdated and do not violate the US laws.

Quote Dr Axe

So where possible and financially viable buy organic or biodynamic (which is the very best). Better still grow your own vegetables and fruit if that is at all possible.

Also where possible purchase the Kangen Water machineđź’¦ – really, it has a great acid vegetable  washing cycle that literally washes away the pesticides. You are able to see the change in the water color and allows the fruit and vegetables to last longer.

To find out more  about the Kangen Water machine 💦 go to my website http://lesleyvoth.kangendemo.com if you are in Australia, or Davids website http://lifechanging-water.com USA or worldwide

Another thing to consider is that a lot of fruit and vegetables sold in the United States are GMOs, so choose organic to avoid GMO versions of these crops.

Happy eatingđź’¦

There is now scientific proof that holding your lovers hand helps reduce the pain that they are feeling. It is to do with “interpersonal synchronization” where partners heartbeats and breathing synch during shared activities. A US study of 22 couples found that just sitting next to each other led to a physiological synch-up, but that stopped when pain appeared. If they touched hands though, the couples breathing and heart rates aligned again, and the pain reduced.

These Strange Myths That Turned Out to Be True

1.Bohemian Grove is a real place.

This is the place where the world’s elite have gone on vacation since the late 19th century. Politicians, musicians, artists, and extremely wealthy individuals gather in Bohemian Grove to enjoy the best kinds of entertainment and also to carry out eerie mystical/religious rites. In the early 2000s, secretly filmed camera footage proved what the “Bohemian Club” refused to confirm: its mysterious meeting place is real, sparking new interest in the legends that have grown up around it.

2. Ernest Hemingway was convinced that the FBI was following him, but his friends and loved ones believed he was simply paranoid. Decades later, the FBI declassified some of its archives which show that the famous writer really was being tracked. This was the result of his connections with Cuba. Many people have argued that this situation led to Hemingway’s suicide.

3. Diamonds are not, in fact, that rare. This is essentially just an ordinary rock, and extracting it has become much less arduous over the past 150 years. However, over a long period of time, the De Beers company has controlled supplies of diamonds and has therefore been able to artificially raise the prices for them. They have been helped in this task by advertising campaigns depicting diamonds as extremely expensive precious stones that should always cost a large amount of money in order to be considered authentic.
Another ‘myth’ that’s true; coloured diamonds are worth more than white diamonds. This is the greatest fraud ever perpetrated as the colour is just impurities within the stone.

4. As long as it’s within a 3-mile radius of the British shore. All whales, dolphins, sturgeons, and porpoises within that radius belong to the Queen.

5. Kinder Surprise eggs, an Italian brand of egg-shaped chocolate candies containing a toy “surprise” inside, have been banned in the States since long before they were first manufactured in the early ’70s. That’s because the US has had a ban on candies with embedded toys since 1938

2.When sea water freezes into sea ice, it releases its salt and becomes a brinicle, also known as ‘The Icy Finger of Death’
These ice stalactites are created under sea ice when cold, saline water is introduced to an area of ocean water. At the time of its creation, a brinicle resembles a pipe of ice reaching down from the underside of a layer of sea ice.
As the sea water freezes, it pushes out impurities, including salt. This makes the water surrounding the pipe more saline, and more dense, so it starts to sink. As the dense water flows down, some of it freezes and creates the finger-like shape that’s characteristic of the brinicle.

Technology Of The Future or The Present Day?

Mail Attachment

I believe this to be true.

Have you ever wished you could be a fly on the wall to spy on what’s going on or being said? How about being a mosquito instead!
No, this isn’t a real mosquito. It’s an insect spy drone for urban areas, already in production, funded by the US Government.
It can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera and a microphone.
It can land on you, and even has the potential to take a DNA sample or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology on your skin.
It can fly through a slightly open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you unwittingly take it into your home.
It can then be guided to the top of a curtain or other invisible location where it can scope entire rooms and monitor everything being said.

This is a comment from Snopes:

The specific mosquito-like object pictured above is, however, just a conceptual mock-up of a design for a MAV, not a photograph of an actual working device “already in production.” And although taking DNA samples or inserting micro-RFID tracking devices under the skin of people are MAV applications that may some day be possible, such possibilities currently appear to be speculative fiction rather than reality.

Some have claimed the U.S. government has not only researched and developed insect-like MAVs, but for several years has been furtively employing them for domestic surveillance purposes:
