Yesterday at 5am I decided to take out the Viking Kayak and paddle to the other side of our lake. Mika my granddaughter also decided to rise early and a come with me as she wanted to use her new passion,a shrimp cast net that I had bought for her for her birthday.
We have done this before with great success. Breakfast of a good feed of shrimp and mullet.
This particular morning was just an abundance of color and serenity all in one. There was not a breath of wind, and as we rowed across the lake the sun peacefully and beautifully rose between the clouds.
