Smoothies To Give You That ‘Up and Go’🏃🏻‍♀️

I got these recipe’s from the Dr Oz show. I did not get the qualities accurately so its a bit of a guess.

Brain Boosting

1 tsp Flax seed
1 tsp Wheat germ
1/2 cup Yogurt,
1/4 cup Spinach
1/2 Apple
1/4 cup Orange juice
Ice

Thyroid

Yogurt
1/4 cup Strawberries
1 tbs Avocado
1/4 cup Almonds
cup Vanilla Almond Milk
tsp Dark Cocoa Powder
Ice

Start to the Day

1 cupYogurt
1/4 cup Jicama
1/4 cup Banana
1/4 cup Pineapple
1/2 cup Almond Milk
tbs Rolled oats
tsp Ginger
Ice

Spirulina Smoothie

1 cup Yogurt
tsp Spirulina
Cup Spinach
1/2 lime juice
Honey Dew Melon
Coconut water
Ice
Blend

Ok Girls Get Rid Of That Cellulite For Summer

I tape Dr Oz every day of the week. Sometimes its a little Ho Hum, but today, very informative I thought. It was a subject dear to my thighs and ass, especially for those of us that venture to the beach or to the pool in our swimmers, be it a one piece or bikini.

Cellulite reduction therapies that you can do at home. (He had the real life photo’s to prove it).

The first one.

Seaweed concoction:

1/4 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup sea salt (coarse stuff)
1/2 cup seaweed powder (I am sure you can get this at a drug store or health food shop)

Stir the mixture which becomes a green color.
Rub this on the areas most needed, morning or night or both. I would use one of those rough hand gloves you get for the shower. Leave it on for a minute or so then shower it off.
Apparently it is a little messy but worth it, so in the shower or bath area is probably a good idea.

Pineapple

1/2 a cup three times a day. Suggested ways:

1. Cottage cheese, pineapple and cinnamon for breakfast

2. Cucumber, pineapple, sprinkle with lemon and chili powder maybe for lunch.

3. Tuna, pineapple, onion as a snack.

They also suggested you could take a supplement called Bromelain. Bromelain is an extract derived from the stems of pineapples.
So if you can’t handle all that pineapple you could use the supplement.

How To Grow A Pineapple

Now this is one way to grow a pineapple, but as someone who has taken her grandchildren , like 50 times to the ‘Big Pineapple’ in Australia and rode around the plantation in the electric train, they, being the plantation workers, explained a different method. This Aussie method I believe will produce a pineapple quicker than the system below. You could try both. I know it takes about 2 years for a pineapple to produce ripe fruit. So it is not something that will produce any time soon after planting. It would have to be an ornamental plant till it produces. 

The way I was told to plant them is cut the top off and leave it several weeks outside till the plant dries out at the base, then plant. Apparently it will produce quicker this way.

Not sure if that is totally correct so you could try the method below.

The Pineapple Promise!

I came across this article about pineapple, which not only was it interesting, it confirmed to me that the particular product that I have been taking is very good for me. I don,t get hay fever and have no lung problems. I am taking it for basically, general digestive health. It is very pleasant to take and I believe I feel better for it.
