1. That:- Norwegians consume 9% of all Pepsi max produced
Norwegians eat the second most tacos in the world, just after Mexico
Norwegians drink the second most coffee in the world, just after USA
Norwegians read the second most comic books in the world, just after japan
There are only 5 million people in Norway

2. 69% of people in the states use the phone on the toilet.
They did research on those who did not use their phones in the toilet and the bacteria count was 30. Those who used their phone on the toilet had a bacteria count of 109,000.

A little quiet time on the loo may seem like an ideal time to check your phone and play a quick game, but this is bad behavior for two reasons. First, it spreads germs to your phone screen that follow you out and recontaminate your fingers after you wash your hands. Second, prolonged toilet sitting can contribute to hemorrhoids, an uncomfortable condition most would like to avoid. Leave your cell phone at your desk and sit on the toilet only for as long as you need to do your business.

3. Fluoride is VERY capable of damaging your brain. Over three hundred studies have found that fluoride is literally a neurotoxin! This meaning that it can and does damage our brains. Three studies were also able to link exposure to fluoride with impaired fetal brain development. This is a major health issue that should not be happening.
Curcumin has been found to reduce the effects of neurotoxicity induced by fluoride. While we know curcumin is extremely beneficial it is even more so now. This study was authored by researchers from the Department of Zoology, University College of Science, M.L. Sukhadia University. These researchers spent almost a decade investigating the ways in which fluoride induces neurodegenerative changes in the brains of mammals.
For those who are not aware, curcumin is found in Tumeric.

5. Why Bananas are curved? – Bananas go through a unique process known as negative geotropism. Instead of continuing to grow towards the ground, they start to turn towards the sun. The fruit grows against gravity, giving the banana its familiar curved shape.
But why you say? The answer lies in the botanical history of the banana. It originated in the middle layer of the rainforest, where there is little sunlight. If the fruit were to grow towards the small amount of light that penetrates sideways through the vegetation, the plant could overbalance and topple over.

LifeStraw Personal Water Filter

Now this is something that I do not travel without. I use it when I travel around the country on my motor cycle. It saves me buying bottle water everyday which can be very expensive especially if you are traveling for some time. You are able just to fill your drinking bottle with tap water. I took it to Mexico on my last trip and on any trip I do overseas. Camping or hunting is another use for this LifeStraw for using creek or river water. It will go a long way to stop you from getting Deli Belly.
There is also a LifeStraw water bottle which is also a perfect way to carry water for drinking, rather than use the straw directly from a stream, tap, or tumbler if you are hiking.
As you can see below the young girls are giving you a practical demonstration and review of the product.

LifeStraw is an astounding water filtration device. It’s small, highly portable, simple to operate, and possibly life-saving.

Keep one with your camping gear, in the glove compartment of your car, and in your pocket anytime you’re hiking in a remote area.

This would make a great Christmas gift for everyone in the family and especially for those family or friends that have it all and hard to find something a little different.

What Would You Do? – Of Course Protect Your Country

None of these figures of course makes it right. Think about it, if Mexico decided to continually, for years, attack USA what do you think the US would do. ‘Bye Bye Mexico’

Since Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005, terrorists have fired more than 11,000 rockets into Israel. Over 5 million Israelis are currently living under threat of rocket attacks.

Sugars Found In Tequila May Protect Against Obesity And Diabetes

This is great news for me as I love Tequila. Nice to know that with every shot I may be improving my health.

big-bottle

This is an article that I read on the Foxnews.com I believe it will be of interest to some.

Tequila shots may do more than lighten the mood at a party; the drink may be beneficial for your health as well.

According to researchers from Mexico, natural sugars derived from the agave plant, called agavins, greatly protected a group of mice against diet-induced obesity and type 2 diabetes, MedPage Today reported.

In a new study presented at the American Chemical Society (ACS) annual meeting in Dallas, mice were distributed into seven groups. One group received a diet of plain water, while the other groups received water supplemented with either aspartame, glucose, fructose, sucrose, agave syrup or agavins.

The mice that consumed agavins showed a reduction in food intake and weight and a decrease in blood glucose levels. These findings were similar to the control group that received standard water.

Because agavins act as dietary fibers and do not raise blood sugar, the researchers believe the ingredient could be used as an alternative sweetening agent.

“We believe agavins have a great potential as a light sweetener,” Mercedes G. López, of the Centro de Incetagcioan y de Estudios Avanzados, Biotechnology and Biochemistry Irapuato, in Guanajuato, Mexico wrote in the ACS abstract. “They are sugars, highly soluble, with a low glycemic index and a neutral taste…This puts agavins in a tremendous position for their consumption by obese and diabetic people.”

The alcoholic beverage tequila is made from the blue agave plant, primarily around the Mexican city of Tequila. However, Lopez noted that agavins are not widely available and not as sweet as regular sugars.
