If y0u go to this site and put in the product you intend to use on your animal it will assist  if possible to inform you of its toxicity. 2. Boiling rice with a teaspoon of coconut oil and leaving it to cool for 12 hours before you eat it, can slash the amount of kilojoules  your body absorbs by up to 60 percent.

Sri Lankan researchers found the combination  of oil and cool temperatures can significantly boost the rice’s resistant starch. Sounds good to me

3.  30g of cottage cheese eaten half an hour before bed increases your exercise gains. Florida state University researchers found that people who eat a protein rich snack at night experience improvements in their muscle quality, metabolism and over all health without gaining extra body fat. I think I have written about this before but I am inclined to repeat myself at times.

4. University of Freiburg in Germany found that depression sufferers soaking in a hot tub for about 30 minutes and then wrapping themselves in a warm  blanket for 20 minutes twice a week had a great improvement from the symptoms. They also found it boosted the temperament far more effectively than exercise. (Sound good to me).

5.  One of my all time favorite movies ‘Titanic’.  One of the most touching  stories was of a couple married for many years. Ida Straus gave up her spot on a lifeboat to stay with her husband of 41 years. Isidor, when he was offered a spot next to his wife he refused to take it because there were still women and children on board .

Instead they put their maid on the lifeboat, wrapped her in Ida’s fur coat. The last sight of them was both sitting together on the deck.

The Strauss were not far from a member of their family on the night of their deaths. Their eldest son, Jesse Isidor, the US Ambassador to France, was traveling back to Paris on the Amerika, which had sent Titanic an ice warning earlier that day. Jesse Isidor had also sent his parents a personal telegram, mentioning the ice he had seen.

Isidor’s body was recovered by the Mackay-Bennett. A funereal service for Isidor was delayed for a few days in the hopes that Ida’s body might too be recovered, allowing the two who had lived and died together to also share a funeral—but Ida’s body was never found. Several days later, over twenty thousand people gathered at Carnegie Hall in New York City for a memorial service in the Strauss honor.

Mistakes That Make Your Hair Look Thinner.

  1. Using the wrong brushes.

Having great hair has a lot to do with the tools you use on your hair especially the brushes.  “Flat brushes and metal brushes won’t give you as much tension when working with the hair as a boar bristle or mixed bristle round brush. Celebrity stylist and founder of Eva Scrivo Salon. ” Tension allows you to get a better grip to get lift and volume in the right places.”

There is a brush called Kent CSGL Ladies’ Thinning Hairbrush that has been  designed to use on hair for those with a thinning problem.51HoWsNO9uL._SL1000_

2. Your hair is just one all-over color.

Hair that is all the one color tends to make your hair look thinner
Add varied tones. Highlighting definitely adds depth to your strands.

3. The length locks could be weighing you down and make your hair look thinner.

Cut your hair short or mid length. If your hair is thinning, long hair will look a little stringy and wispy. Keeping it shorter is easier to keep it healthy.

4. Hair color too close to your skin color.

When you have a pale complexion and your hair is platinum it is inclined to make your hair look thinner. Add some varied colors to your hair to take that bland look away.

5. Dying your hair too dark.

If your hair is thinning and your hair is too dark it seem to make your part a little wider which gives the appearance of thinning hair. Put some varied shades to help give the appearance of thicker hair.

6. Be careful of the products you use on your hair

Oil- and silicone-based products lay heavy in the hair and tend to make it look thinner.

7. Hot Tools

Be so careful how often you use hot. Hot tools can damage the cuticle, promoting hair breakage.
Use a heat protectant before styling with hot tools to avoid scorching your hair.

8. Your cut is too blunt.

Have your hair layered as it gives your hair that thicker look.

9. Don’t over shampoo

Do not use shampoo every day. When you shower use just conditioner and say shampoo only once or twice a week. Avoid products with harsh detergents, like sodium lauryl sulfate, which can cause breakage.
When you suds up, don’t rub shampoo into the hair itself. Instead, gently massage it into your scalp and let it slide down through your locks.

10 Try a tinted hair spray.
Use a colored powder made specifically to disguise hair loss. These come with an applicator like the kind you use to apply eye shadow. Choose a shade that matches your roots. Apply the product lightly — tap the excess off the brush and dab it gently onto your scalp.

11. Don’t Tease.

Teasing seems like an easy way to give your locks a boost, but it can damage your hair and cause split ends and fly-aways.

CONTAINS RAW EGGS: The Food Network Kitchen suggest caution in consuming raw and lightly cooked eggs due to the slight risk of salmonella or other food-borne illness. To reduce this risk, we recommend you use only fresh, properly refrigerated, clean grade A or AA eggs with intact shells, and avoid contact between the yolks or whites and the shell. For recipes that call for eggs that are raw or undercooked when the dish is served, use shell eggs that have been treated to destroy salmonella, by pasteurization or another approved method.

5 Ways to Protect Your Digital Privacy
By Mark Nestmann

Revelations about clandestine data collection are old news now. Government agencies and thousands of commercial entities are able to access our personal information via the internet and by mining public databases.

Data that you thought was removed and files you thought you deleted can still be recovered from your personal computer. And all computers are vulnerable to this.

But luckily there are steps we can take to maintain some level of privacy in a non-private world. You can mask your digital presence. It doesn’t cost much, and it’s fairly easy even for the tech-unsavvy amongst us.

Here are some simple and effective ways to protect your digital privacy.

  1. Secure your router. If you have a high-speed internet connection in your home, it probably connects to the internet through a device called a router. Routers are usually installed with a default password. Should someone take over your router, it’s relatively easy to change the settings to point to a computer controlled by that person. From that point forward, everything you do online can be monitored. So change the password on your router to one that can’t easily be guessed.
  1. Configure your internet browser for privacy. As you surf the Web, you pick up a trail of temporary files that your browser stores, sometimes indefinitely. To minimize your digital trail, use the private browsing mode of your internet browser. This turns off all tracking features including browsing history, auto-complete, form and search bar entries, passwords, and download list entries. In addition, no cookies or web cache files are stored.
  1. Use a non-U.S. webmail provider. Webmail—services like Yahoo mail and Gmail—is extremely convenient. You can access your emails from anywhere and a virtually unlimited number of messages for free. But with U.S.-based webmail services, you can kiss your privacy goodbye. The police can legally read older emails (anything more than 180 days old) and Gmail, Yahoo, and other domestic email providers receive tens of thousands of subpoenas from police and other government agencies.

To protect yourself, use a non-U.S. email service that takes privacy and security seriously. The one we use at The Nestmann Group is Century Media. This company offers end-to-end encrypted email and all its servers are based in Switzerland. That means your stored emails are secure from U.S. subpoenas, court orders, and snoops.
  1. Encrypt your emails, messages, and files. With an encryption program, no one but you and your intended recipient can read your email messages, text messages, and instant messages. The technology scrambles the message and a decryption key is needed to read the message. Some encryption programs available now make it nearly impossible to decipher your messages, even by the supercomputers used by the NSA.
  1. Encrypt your cloud storage. Storing data online, whether it’s email messages or the secret formula to Coca-Cola “in the cloud” is now routine. But like everything else, if you’re dealing with a U.S. company, it’s not necessarily private or secure. Take U.S.-based Dropbox, for example. Not only is Dropbox subject to extremely loose U.S. privacy laws, but researchers discovered that private Dropbox files you share can be indexed by search engines, making it possible for anyone who can find the link to open it.

One way to protect yourself is to upload only encrypted files to Dropbox. Otherwise, consider one of the many Dropbox alternatives such as Tresorit.
