I have known about Paw Paw for years and used it daily as we always had them growing in our garden in Queensland. I believe them to be very healthy but the seeds taken with caution and moderation as they are quite powerful. Example is only 3-5 seeds twice a day depending on what ails you. The flesh of course is fantastic as a desert or eaten just because you feel like it. Nice with ice cream.
I used them for basically general health and was not aware of the danger of overeating them until now. But anyhow we are all still alive. But they are good for inflammation and well as your gut health which is so important to our every day health.
These three videos are mostly about the story of Russell Old who an Aussie photographer. It takes guts, strength, determination, no fear and fitness to achieve his passion. Anyway Enjoy especially if you have a love of the Ocean as I. I believe most of the videos are taken in Western Australia
I like this video – Why? The reason being I think it is a great introduction to life for your children who are now of the age that are entering the work force or going off to study at University. I believe those who have talents often do not make the most of them and end up wondering after a few years “what happened” where did all that time go and I have achieved very little. There are reasons why some succeed and some do not and I believe this guy explains it very well. We often see these qualities in our own children and I believe we should be aware and nurture qualities no matter what the age.
I am really not a ‘Mr Bean’ fan but I have to admit this made me laugh. So am sharing with you – Enjoy
Now I love peas, they are my favorite vege. When I was at Bermagui (Australia) last week we had lunch at a restaurant called “Octopii”. My niece Donna and I had ‘Fish Pot Pie’ and with this pie was mashed potato and this creamy mushy peas. It was delicious and I made it with our shepard’s pie last night. Mine was a little more liquid than theirs but I think I over cooked the peas. You really should make sure you boil the water first then add the peas for only 3 min and no longer. Next time I do it I think I would roll them out on a paper towel to get as much of the water off the peas as I could.
Anyway here is the recipe. Hope you enjoy.
345g frozen peas
4 tablespoons cream
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preparation:5min › Cook:10min › Ready in:15min
Bring a shallow pot of lightly salted water to the boil over medium high heat. Add peas and cook for 3 minutes or until tender.
Drain peas and transfer to a blender or large food processor. Add cream, butter, salt and pepper and process until blended but still thick with small pieces of peas. Adjust seasonings to taste, and serve immediately.
Very simple and easy.
You Know we learn every day about the benefits of lemons in our diet. Here is another way to make use of those lemons. It seems if you have a healthy lemon tree it produces more than you can eat so this is a great way of preserving them and getting all the benefits.
Enjoy cause “If you don’t do different nothing will change”.
This is amazing. You may have already seen this as it was done in 2015, but I have not. If you haven’t ENJOY!
