1. The Arby’s beef ‘N Cheddar classic has half the calories as the Roast Turkey ranch and bacon sandwich. Who would have known it. I would have thought the reverse.

If you are counting calories well here is a comparison list for some of these fast foods.

Sugared raised doughnut and iced latte 300 calories
Sesame seed bagel with plain cream cheese 500 calories
Cobb salad with avocado lime ranch dressing – 740 calories
Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich 440 calories.
Rib Eye and baked potato with butter and sour cream – 1,110 calories
Asiago peppercorn Sirloin biscuit and broccoli 525 Calories.

 

2. Houtou Wan Village is located on Gouqi Island, which belongs to a group of 394 islands known as the Shengsi Islands in the Zhoushan Archipelago.
Once a thriving settlement merely half a century ago, Houtou Wan Village was gradually deserted when the small bay could no longer meet the needs of the increasing number of fishing boats.
Nature has reclaimed the land, turning the village into a hauntingly beautiful wonderland devoid of human presence except  for wandering tourists and a handful of elderly residents who refuse to leave their birthplace.

4. Wombats have cubed shaped poop. They’re all native to Australia and some of the surrounding islands. Wombats are marsupials. Like koalas, female wombats have pouches that face to the rear of their bodies, in which they carry and nurse their young. Wombats leave their cube-shaped poop as territorial signposts on the tops of rocks and logs. It is a natural ways of marking territory to prevent confrontation and promote mating.

5. Cremated ashes can now be converted into a vinyl record.

5 Healthy Foods That Have More Fat Than A Doughnut

I assume what they say is true, if so a doughnut once in a while can’t do too much damage. My favorite doughnut is a jam doughnut especially warm and fresh.

1. Half an AvocadoGlazed doughnut has 14 grams of fat. Half an avocado has 15 grams of fat. In avocado, 10 of those grams are monounsaturated fats, which improve cholesterol levels.

I am not sure about this one as I eat half an avocado a day and don’t see any improvement. They may also prevent the accumulation of belly fat, according to a study published in Diabetes Care.

2. Two tablespoons of peanut butter – 16 grams of fat, about half of which is monounsaturated.

3. One Ounce Unsweetened Dried Coconut – 18 grams of fat. But new research suggests there’s a place in healthy diets for saturated fats. You definitely don’t want to go overboard with dried coconut as they are saturated fats.

4. 3 Large Eggs – You’ll get just more than 14 grams of fat from a breakfast that includes three eggs. The fat content breaks down fairly evenly between saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats.

5. 12 Olives – 15 grams of fat, the vast majority of which is monounsaturated. Olives like all of the above offer more nutrients than a doughnut.

 It seems to be, what ever tastes soooooooo good seems to ‘Not be good for you’.  You can be sure one doughnut is not going to put you into deadly heart attack spin so one every now and then has to be good for the soul. Well that is my opinion.
