Umm – Not For Me

Pirelli, an amazing walk on Christ The Redeemer

I have an aversion to heights so even watching this makes me dizzy. But just imagine if you had the confidence these guys have, how you would enjoy such a gorgeous view. I am in Awe of their courage and being fearless in their job.

Help Larry Ride Again

1c785029-9de4-450d-a428-448fb0d9b4b6_profile

Larry Machula has been a friend of my husband for 33 years and for me about 10 years. It has been painful to watch a disease take a vibrant, positive, exciting personality and turn him into a quadriplegic state. Larry fought this disease with the greatest of courage and still remains mentally alert and determined to continue his life to the best of his ability.

Larry has a goal to be able to purchase a van that he is able to be transported in and around the countryside to encourage others of like situation and continue to succeed in business and to keep a certain amount of independence and pride.

You can help make this possible for Larry at “You Caring.com” and make a donation that will help him reach his goal.

Live Without Regrets

Let none of the following regrets be your regrets. I personally try to have no living regrets as all my experiences have led me to many many places and met some fantastic people and led me to the life, the children and Grandchildren I have today.

I hope to have no dying regrets.

Top regrets of the dying

  • I wish I had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me
  • I wish I not worked so hard
  • I wish I had the courage to express my feelings,
  • I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends,
  • I wish I had let myself be happier.

Courage & Imagination

“Any time a thought, a sentence, or paragraph inspires you or opens up your thinking, you need to capture it, like a butterfly in a net, and later release it into your own field of consciousness.”
~Steve Chandler

“Courage is the most important of all virtues, because without it we can’t practice any other virtue with consistency.”
~Maya Angelou

Quote For Today « 8/18/2010

This is a quote from one of my favorite websites Amolife.com
I have heard this quote before and believe it is worth repeating. We need to honor our lives and make sure we are an honorable person in all ways. As I am getting older I believe I fear less, because I have nothing to lose and see new horizons every corner I take. I wish I had known this in my early years as I would have explored more, taken more chances and believed in myself more, although many that know me would think that my life has been one big adventure. It has been and I love my life. We need to know that as the quote says, we are in the right place and on the right path. Every person I meet I believe I have met for a reason and take note of who they are and what they have to say.
Enjoy

“Your life is a sacred journey. And it is about change, growth, discovery, movement, transformation, continuously expanding your vision of what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking courageous challenges at every step along the way. You are on the path… exactly where you are meant to be right now… And from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing, of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, and of love.”
