Poem Friday – 05/03/2019 – Megsy We Will Miss That Happy Wiggly Bum❤️

April has not been a good Dog Month for me

I guess it’s better  Gods plan is  that the future ahead we cannot see

My friends dog  Megsy, a lovable Staffy

Such a character and in her dragon jacket looked very sassy

Megsy passed away very peaceful indeed

Cancer had invaded her little body with great speed

Her last years  with Linda were wonderful for her and they made a good pair

A rescue  dog, for many years she lived with loneliness and despair.

She was a great addition to that skinner household

She was given so much love, and love Megsy returned ten fold

She was a comfort to Linda in times that were not so good

Megsy could make her smile and laugh as only Megsy could

She was a social butterfly, Morning coffee at the local bakery she sat

Little bum and tail wagging with the glee of  the occasional pat

I will miss dear Megsy who was going deaf and a little blind

Could hear my motorbike come down the road, meant to be deaf,  bear in mind

She gave us all pleasure and I am sure we gave her some

Megsy we will miss that happy Wiggly Bum
