How To Naturally Change your Hair Color At Home

This is worth giving a go as you and I well know the stuff they put in our hair most of the time is not good for it

1. Chamomile

If you thought benefit-rich chamomile was only for tea, guess what? It can safely lighten your hair too. Just brew a strong cup or two, then allow it cool. Once cooled, apply it to the hair for an all over lightening effect. Then hang out in the sun for about a half an hour while it dries. Shampoo and condition as usual.

2. Henna

While henna is usually known to darken hair, it can lighten very dark brunettes by providing some reddish highlights. It takes about three tablespoons of henna powder combined with a ½ cup of boiling water. Then allow this mixture to sit overnight. The next morning, apply to your hair, letting it sit for around 2–3 hours. Rinse well.

3. Baking Soda

Baking soda can whiten your teeth, but if looking for how to lighten hair, it can help. Make a paste using a little warm water and about a ⅓ cup of baking soda. (You may need more if you have long hair). Once you have formed a thick paste, apply it to the hair and leave on for about 15 minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition and style as usual. You can even try my baking soda shampoo for added results.

4. Lemons

Lemon juice in hair is probably the most popular and has been for years because it contains bleaching properties. It works because of the citric acid in the lemon fruit, which can be used while out in the sun to naturally lighten the hair. This method seems to work best on lighter shades of hair. Regardless, you don’t need much.

To gently lighten the hair, combine one tablespoon of lemon juice with about a half gallon of water. If you want stronger bleaching effects, you can dilute far less by mixing three tablespoons of lemon juice with about two cups of water. If you prefer, you can use lemon essential oil to do the trick. Just a few drops blended with water will create the perfect concoction.

Want a shine boost? Use apple cider vinegar for hair by simply adding two tablespoons for a great hair rinse. To use, apply after a good shampoo. Simply rinse your hair with the lemon mixture. Make sure it has been evenly distributed. Massage it into your hair. Allow it to sit for five minutes to one hour, and for a lighter effect, sit in the sun with the mixture in your hair. Then, apply conditioner and rinse. You can repeat this technique for two to three weeks until desired color is reached.

5. Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

As mentioned above, vinegar can offer some shine, but it also can offer a lightened affect. Just combine a ½ cup of apple cider vinegar with a half-cup of distilled water. Either spray it on or apply to strands using a cotton ball or brush. Leave on for about half an hour, then rinse.

6. Sea Salt

When swimming in the ocean, the salt from the sea can lighten your hair, especially since you are out in the sun. You can simulate that effect using sea salt and warm water. Just dissolve one tablespoon of sea salt with about a ½ cup of warm water. Apply it to your hair, leaving on for about 20 minutes. Rinse and wash for that sexy beach look!

Natural Hair Lightener Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 5 drops chamomile essential oil
  • warm water (enough to make a paste)

In a small bowl, combine the baking soda and sea salt. Mix well. Baking soda is a great home remedy because it helps removes residue caused by other products, helps remove chlorine (which is useful if you spend time in the pool), and it even promotes hair growth! (9)

To apply, choose either strands of hair or apply it to your full head of hair for an all over lighter effect. Either way, make sure to massage into the scalp area at the base of the hair you are working with. Allow it to sit on the hair for about half an hour. To achieve a blonder affect, sit in the sun during this time. After half an hour, rinse thoroughly, shampoo, condition and style as usual. If you want your hair to be even lighter, repeat the next day.

Did You Know – 8/06/2018

1. The Hawaiian Alphabet has only 13 letters. It includes five vowels and eight consonants

2. Smart Bandages – Researchers at Tufts University USA have come up with a brilliant innovative tech. Although only in the clinical trial period, if successful it could put an end to infections and amputations in people who have chronic skin wounds.

This bandage which looks like a clear sticking plaster houses both heat and PH detecting sensors together with a dose of thermally activated medicine. Infected wounds and burns generate higher temperatures and Ph levels that healthy skin, so as soon as the sensors notice anything out of the norm they send a drug releasing microbes straight to the area.
It appears there are many Universities looking into this so I guess it is something that we can look forward to in the future.

3. Sex and Fruit – According to Dr Yen Ying Lim, of the Cognitive aging laboratory at the Florey institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health in Victoria, Australia, having sex on a regular basis and heaps of fruit especially berries and cherries help your memory work at its best. Things that break down the protection of our brain are inactivity, being Obese, high cholesterol and blood pressure.

4. Clench your fist – While we are on the subject of Memory researchers of the Montclair State University in the USA have discovered that making a fist seems to help memory and recall.
Clench your right fist when you want to remember something and clench your left fist later to help recollect the memory.

5. An Orange a Day Keeps macular degeneration away – Researchers from Westmead institute discovered that by eating one orange a day the flavonoids they contain helps to prevent macular degeneration. Try changing from an apple a day to the orange a day and you may have happy eyes

Achieve and Alkaline Body and be Healthy💦

To achieve an alkaline body which I may add is essential to good health you must have and alkaline lifestyle.

Green vegetables: kale, chard, beet greens, dandelion, spinach, wheat grass, alfalfa grass.

Non starchy vegetables – mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado, radishes, cucumber,  broccoli, oregano, garlic, ginger, green beans, endive, cabbage, celery, zucchini and asparagus.

Raw Foods – life-giving foods – organic fruit and vegetables

Superfoods – maca root, spirulina, sea veggies, bone broth and green powder mixes that contain chlorophyll.

Healthy fats – coconut oil, MCT oil or virgin olive oil (fats found in wild-caught fish, grass-fed beef, cage-free eggs, nuts, seeds and organic grass-fed butter

Starchy plants – sweet potato, turnips and beets.

Plant proteins – almonds, navy beans, lima beans and most other beans

Most fruits –  Strangely enough, acidic fruits such as grapefruit and tomatoes don’t create acidity in the body. They do just the opposite and contribute to an alkaline environment. Citrus fruits, dates and raisins are all very alkalizing and may help prevent acidosis.

Apple cider Vinegar –  Strangely enough, acidic fruits such as grapefruit and tomatoes don’t create acidity in the body. They do just the opposite and contribute to an alkaline environment. Citrus fruits, dates and raisins are all very alkalizing and may help prevent acidosis.

Drink Alkaline water; – Now you know this is my favorite subject and write about it all the time. Now Dr Axe also is writing about the subject of alkaline water that is so necessary to optimal health like the food we eat :-

“According to the Water Research Center’s website, “The normal range for pH in surface water systems is 6.5 to 8.5 and for groundwater systems is 6 to 8.5.”  This means that there is a lot of variation when it comes to pH levels between different sources of water. When water has a pH level less than 6.5, it is considered “acidic, soft, and corrosive,” which means it may potentially leach metal ions such as iron, manganese, copper, lead, and zinc from aquifers, plumbing fixtures, and piping, plus contain certain toxic metals and have a sour taste. The best way to treat the problem of acidic (low pH) water is to use a neutralizer that raises the pH.

Evidence suggests that the ideal pH level of alkaline ionized water for long-term human consumption is between 8.5 and 9.5.  Alkaline water is just what it sounds like: water that is highly acidic, with a pH of between 9.5 to 11. Adding pH drops, lemon or lime, or baking soda to your water also boosts alkalinity. Distilled water is neutral, with a pH of 7.

Water filtered using a reverse osmosis filter is slightly acidic, with a pH level slightly lower than 7. Distilled water and filtered water may not be too alkaline, but as far as pH balance is concerned they are still a better option than tap water or purified bottled water that are more acidic.”

The History of Hydrogen-Rich Water (Ionized Water) By Sebastian Restrepo

Kangen Water® was developed to be a medical device in Japan over 40 years ago and more than three decades of clinical studies have shown that Kangen Water enhances the self-healing power of the human body. (Research documentation available upon request)

Your body is continuously oxidizing just like an apple that is cut in half and left on a counter. Antioxidants (Molecular Hydrogen) stabilize free radical cells that cause premature aging, wrinkles, weak immune systems, and in time, diseases.

Molecular Hydrogen is the strongest antioxidant in the world and I’m very thankful for Mr. Oshiro & Enagic for providing this technology to everyone.

The Japanese have the longest life expectancy in the world and I can see why.

Change your water, Change your life!

How to Make Apple Cider Vinegar at Home – Why You Should Take It

weightloss
1. Weight Loss

What is in vinegar that causes weight loss?

Acetic acid is a component of vinegar that encourages your body to lose those pounds by helping prevent the build up of body fat and unhealthy liver fats, supporting weight loss. You can easily make your own apple cider vinegar at home, here is a simple guide for making it:
Multiple studies by the Central Research Institute in Japan (2009) and Johnson and Buller (2005), show how a small amount of vinegar a day can help reduce weight. These studies indicate that a minimum of 15ml (1 tablespoon) a day is enough to lose inches.

Here’s an easy way to add apple cider vinegar to your daily diet: Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with an 8oz glass of warm water or fruit juice, it’s as easy as that!

2. Lowering Cholesterol

The effects of consuming apple cider vinegar on blood lipid levels (cholesterol levels). The results prove that by taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar a day, cholesterol levels will in fact reduce. Try adding this health boosting vinegar to a smoothie for an easy way to apply it to your daily diet.
