Nitrates in our Water At Dangerous Levelsūüí¶

As you know I am an advocate of ¬†humans drinking the purest water that is available to us in all walks of life. We can of course with the right equipment. We can blame our illnesses on many things, like we do, ¬†such as Roundup, nitrates, fluoride, Stress and just breathing but I don’t believe we can nail just one of these poisons that causes cancer or any other illness. I think its all of them because you will find them in our drinking water.

So it does not matter how healthy you eat , if your drinking water is contaminated with this stuff then you are wasting your time and money.

This is an interesting story about nitrates in our water that was published on the Fox News.

Millions of tons of nitrate from industrial farming find their way into America’s drinking water each year, causing thousands of cases of cancer and other health problems

In a new report, researchers from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) quantify the risk. They say nitrate is responsible for nearly 12,600 cases of cancer a year.

(That is true as I lived many years in a cane growing area in Australia so I saw for myself the amount of bags and bags of fertilizer  put into the soil and spraying of crops over those years. In fact I always used to say that it was not soil the sugar was growing in, it was just fertilizer. Consequently I noted also over the years how many children were born with deformities, health problems and terminal illnesses in their latter years. )

“Industrialized farming relies heavily on nitrate fertilizers that can run off into the water table used by drinking water utilities,” said Sydney Evans, a science analyst at EWG.

The report said 80% of the nitrate-related cancers were colorectal, with ovarian, thyroid, kidney and bladder cancer accounting for the rest. Treatment costs up to $1.5 billion a year, according to the report.

Nitrate is hard and costly to filter out of water.  Some towns and cities, however, do remove it and pass along the cost to residents.

Private wells can also have high nitrate levels. People who rely on well water have to spend thousands of dollars to add reverse osmosis systems if they want to remove nitrate.

(Now on saying this If you have a Kangen Water machine you understand it is primarily a water Ionizer. It also filters out chlorine, fluoride, lead and most other common type contaminants. To filter out the likes of nitrates etc,  you need a pre filter for the machine. It is not expensive but recommended if you find you have a high count of nitrates in your water or any of the following poisons in your water. If you have not got a Kangen Water machine then for the health of your family I suggest you get one. )

The Ultra-E Submicron Depth Filtration Series is manufactured using a proprietary, patented, electro-absorptive media technology, and is capable of removing submicron pathogens and inorganic contaminants through electro-adhesion and ion exchange.

This technology makes it possible for a nonwoven media to product filtration efficiency comparable to ultramembrane filtration but at very low pressure drop, with high flow rates and high loading capacity working equally well in fresh, brackish or salt waters.

The media in the Ultra-E filter is NSF 61-approved.

Filter will pass up to 1500 gallons of water

Comes with Filter and Housing

The ULTRA-E filter reduces, or removes the following pathogens:
>99.99% of viruses (pollo, rotavirus, norovirus, etc.)**
>99.99% of bacteria ( e coli, legionella, pseudomonas, etc.)**
>99.95% of cysts (giardia, cryptosporidium, etc.)**
** Tested by a certified laboratory in the U.S. (testing was done at 6.5pH)

The Ultra-E filter removes or reduces the following heavy metals:
>95% Lead **
>90% Ferrous Iron **
>95% Arsenic V **
>95% Cadmium **
>85% Chromium **
>75% Selenium **
>60% Mercury
** Tested by a certified laboratory in the U.S. (testing was done at 6.5pH)

The ULTRA-E filter removes, or reduces the following organic and inorganic chemicals:
VOCs (volatile organic compounds)
PCBs and BPA
Residual pharmaceuticals
Bio-fouling precursors: organic acids, proteins, polysaccharides

They Were Honorable In Defeat

They Were Honorable In Defeat

Author Lesley Voth

At 8am for the last two weeks, cup of tea in hand ready to go
Watching the America’s Yacht race in San Francisco

Tensions have been high as each race exciting
It looked like NZ had it, it was so nail biting

But unfortunately after a stellar effort, NZ were defeated
More money for greater technology, made USA’s boat faster, I felt some what cheated

What ever the reason It made NZ sad but we are very proud
When they get back the celebration will be colorful and loud

We have all shed tears not because we lost but we could see the pain
For our own tearful skipper Dean Barker who fought so hard to make that one race gain

He is so proud of his mates, supporters and his great team
They are all the best sailors, they fought hard, they are the cream

We are a small country, and we came together to give loyal supports
We had a great boat, the team was from NZ they did not need outside imports

They are strong and they took the heat
They are to be admired cause they were honorable in defeat

My Horoscope For Today

Hey I thought this was quite a cool horoscope today. Not that I take too much notice of them but I thought this was rather apt. Especially the way the America’s cup boat race is going. Go NZ.

Horoscope [Scorpio] – Be inspired by birthday great F. Scott Fitzgerald: “Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat”

Well I Thought It Was Funny

Monday here in New Zealand, Sunday in the USA.
Either way in NZ we need a laugh as our Yacht ‘Emirates’ did not win the race they needed to win the “America’s Cup” today.
Tomorrow is another day. The tension is killing me.

I stole these from my favorite website http://www.sexcigarsbooze.com
