Poem Friday on Tuesday – Rest in Peace Mum

I guess things happen for the reasons we just don’t know

It is Gods plan,  a burden that he alone bestow

Charlie her dog left this earth only weeks ago

A heartbreak,  for she was adorable a very sad blow

But the reason that was she clearly first and  heading the same way

As  Mum, so to be with her when she got there on  Sunday

I will miss our calls on Thursdays  being FaceTime our digital choice

You would not say much, but tell me you just want to listen to my voice

Always a smile, pleased to see you and never ever complains

Says no point in whining does not help, there are no gains

I could make this poem longer with memories of your hundred years

But sadness would over come and bring me again to tears

I celebrate your life  the great memory will never cease

I love you very much and will miss you Mum. Rest in Peace
