1. Q. Does it take more power to turn a light on and leave it on.
A. The answer is NO. Turning a light off even for a short time will save you power.
2. Q. Does it take more energy to turn on a computer than to leave it on?
A. Once again the answer is NO. Turning the computer off always saves power.
3. Q. Does it take more energy to cool a house in which the air conditioner has been off all day?
A. The answer is NO. It takes less energy to cool it down at the end of the day.
